NOT a sleeve to use for picture sleeves, as the 7 1/4" height is not tall enough to protect the tops of most picture sleeves. If a sleeve is going to be 7 1/4 x 7 1/2, the 7 1/2 side should be the open side. I wanted a nice thick outer to cover my best pic sleeves; I'm still looking.
