Just what I needed—I save all my various knitting and dollmaking magazines, a lot of which are no longer published and therefore not replaceable. These boxes fit nicely in the bottom of my storage closet, and my reference materials are safe from dust, humidity, cat hair . . .

Exactly the right size for magazine storage! Husband has many valuable/collectible magazines. We needed long-term storage that minimizes damage from a moist basement. Some things to note: 1. Magazines are stored upright, and with the box completely full, the side handles cannot be used. The side handles "pop" into place, but introduce a hole in the side of the box to allow dust/moisture to enter. So, for us, the non-use of the handles works perfectly to keep the box completely sealed. The box is not "water tight", but could easily be described as "dust/dirt tight". These are the next best things to plastic-ware storage, and fit the size of magazines much better! 2. The boxes stack on top of each other nicely, and have not shown any signs of weight-collapse in the last three months. We plan to move them to shelves soon. 3. The boxes are very strong, and folding/unfolding them from their flat shape (as shipped) to their box form takes a little effort/muscle. This is not ideal for great-grandma in her 'weakened' muscular state, or for anyone who is weakened from illness or disability. :D 4. Customer service has been great! The 2nd order of 10-boxes was back-ordered. But the company contacted us immediately, and updated us with expected arrival dates. They also offered us to cancel the order (which wasn't necessary). The back-ordered shipment actually arrived faster than the original shipment deadline! Fast! Fast! Fast! Great service!

These are great for the purpose of archival storage. They are water-resistant, and both sturdy and cushioning at the same time. I do wish black was available, as I think UV light still may get through the white (if that matters)... Prices have shot up in the last few years, for some reason... BTW, I use hot glue to secure the flaps (which is probably overkill).
